Legacy Preparatory Charter Academy Philosophy of Gifted and Talented Services:
The Legacy Preparatory Gifted and Talented (GT) program is dedicated to identifying gifted and talented students, and is designed to meet the instructional needs of the students through the differentiation of instruction in all content areas, arts, creativity and leadership. Our project-based learning environment allows for differentiated instruction to occur through lesson and project extensions appropriate for scholars’ abilities, interests, and skills.

Service Design:
Legacy Preparatory gifted and talented students in these identified grade levels will receive services in their general educational classroom setting with differentiated lesson and project extensions based on the student’s need, ability, and interest. Through a cluster model, the teacher will offer students the opportunity to work together as a group, with other scholars, or work independently.
