Non-Discrimination Statement
Legacy Preparatory Charter Academy (LPCA) does not discriminate on the basis of race,
religion, color, national origin, sex, gender, disability, or age in providing educational
services, activities, and programs, including vocational and career technology programs.
LPCA complies with all applicable federal laws, including:
• Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended;
• Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits sex-based
discrimination in education programs or activities;
• Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with
Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), as amended, which prohibit discrimination based
on disability;
• The Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended.
This non-discrimination requirement applies to admissions, access to programs, and
employment at LPCA. Inquiries concerning Title IX may be directed to LPCA’s Title IX
Coordinator (listed below), to the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the U.S.
Department of Education, or to both.
Questions or concerns regarding compliance with any of these laws should be directed to
the individual designated below, who is responsible for coordinating LPCA’s compliance
efforts.

Individuals may report sex discrimination, including sexual harassment, at any time—
during or outside of business hours, by mail, phone, or email. Reports may also be made in
person during district business hours.
Upon receiving an allegation of sex-based harassment, the Title IX Coordinator will
promptly respond in accordance with Board Policies PG-3.2 and PG-4.2
