Byron is a multi-certified corporate trainer and published author with more than fifteen years of
consulting, training and leadership experience. Byron is skilled in performance management,
facilitating diverse learning, and building productive relationships with clients and staff. He is an
energetic leader with excellent team development, emotional intelligence and conflict
management skills and has the ability to evaluate business processes; troubleshoot to isolate the
cause(s) of human performance gaps and/or organizational needs. He has experience in
forecasting workforce requirements, establishing/redesigning organizations, and
influencing/leading the work of individuals and groups in change initiatives. He has lead
seamless implementations and delivered next-generation assessment solutions that assist in
improving revenues, margins and workplace productivity.
His professional background includes positions as public affairs manager, regional academic
coordinator, and director of administrative services in higher education. He is an entrepreneur
with experience in management, human resources, sales and marketing, and has participated on
leadership teams responsible for implementing performance management standards, recruitment,
interviewing, and staff development. He has served on numerous boards and committees in his
professional career. Presently, he serves on the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Senior Services
Alliance. He is also the President and Chairman of the Board for Legacy Preparatory Charter
School District, serving the Dallas, Mesquite and Plano communities.
Byron has a BBA with emphases in Marketing and Real Estate, and a Master of Arts in Human
Behavior from National University San Diego, California. He has received accreditation from
Ziglar Training Systems (guest trainer) Development Dimensions International (certified
facilitator), Ball State University, Indiana (certified trainer), Accelerated Learning, American
Society for Training and Development (ASTD), American Management Association (Train the
Trainer), and National University-San Diego, Proactive Employee Selection & Retention and
Performance Management.
For the last six years, Byron and Flo have owned and operated the Comfort Keepers Franchise in
Frisco, Texas serving the senior communities of Collin & Denton Counties.

Vince is the Principal/Owner at Vittatoe Consulting, LLC., an independent security consulting business.
Vince started his business in 2018 and brought over 30 years of combined law enforcement and corporate safety, security and loss prevention experience to provide businesses with either a virtual or fractional safety, security & loss prevention executive to help provide strategic security advice and direction to his clients.
Vince received his B.B.A in Accounting from Hardin-Simmons University in 1986 and began his professional career as an accounting supervisor for State Farm Insurance. In 1988, Vince joined the Dallas Police Department, Dallas, TX. where he worked in the patrol division and deployment units at Southeast Patrol Division. In 1997, Vince re-entered the corporate world when he went to work for Accor North America, beginning his career in the hospitality industry. Vince has provided safety, security and loss prevention expertise for such companies as Red Roof Inns, Bob Evans Farm and Mimi’s Cafés, La Quinta Inns and Suites and G6 Hospitality.
Vince is excited to join the Board of Directors for the Legacy Prep Charter Academy and believes in being involved as he is also an active member currently serving on the Board of Directors of IAPSC, International Association of Professional Security Consultants and the McKinney Convention and Visitor Bureau in McKinney, Texas.

Jennifer Aleman Salazar is a Loan Officer with Fairway Mortgage and has been with her team for 19 years. After graduating from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 2004, she had the honor of starting her journey into the Mortgage Industry. Business Education has continued to be one of her loves and she has recently completed a Harvard Certificate program through the Harvard Business School with a focus in Disruptive Strategy.
With many years in the Mortgage industry, she also has the privilege of training incoming Loan Officers & Loan Officer Assistants. In 2013, 2015 and 2017 Jennifer had the distinct honor of speaking on a panel for Todd Duncan's Sales Mastery (an annual convention consisting of the top mortgage originators in the nation).Jennifer grew up a “Pastors kid” and watched her dad selflessly help families every day with their needs. This example has led her to a prime place, where she is also given the honor of helping families out every day with their needs. Whether it’s by seeing a family purchase their first home, or helping a couple know how to restore their credit, her passion is to serve.
Jennifer is forty years young and currently resides in Rockwall with her husband, Tito and their baby girl, Daniella. Jennifer and Tito have been married for 7 years and they welcomed their baby girl in February 2020. Jennifer’s hobbies are traveling & trying new restaurants in the DFW area. Member - Gary Cary
Gary is an experienced businessman, having led the retail, operations and real estate organizations for two publicly traded companies, one with revenues in excess of $3 Billion dollars and over 6,000 employees. Dedicated to success, his approach is both customer centered, and employee focused. His background includes positions as the Chief Retail Officer at Mattress Firm, CEO of Prime Sleep, President/COO of Sleep Experts, and VP of Retail and Real Estate for the Sleep Number Company. He spent much of his career in the mattress industry, finding great satisfaction in helping customers sleep better and from that, live better. In those roles he gained valuable experience in organization structure, human resources, annual planning and budgeting, performance management, employee benefits, and training and education.
Gary and his wife Janice have been Plano residents since 2011. They met in high school in Tucson, Arizona, and went to college at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, where Gary received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing. Having lived in several cities across the USA, from San Diego to Minneapolis, they chose Plano for their home, due to the quality of life, from the fantastic combination of services in the City of Excellence. Janice and Gary have been married for 42 years, and are blessed with two children and 4 grandkids who all live in Plano.
Gary served 4 years as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for Plano, two of those as 1st Vice Chair. He also is a Board Member on the Plano Citizens Coalition, a group dedicated to preserving the suburban character of the city. Gary is excited to take his belief that education is foundational to success and his experience, in support of the important mission of Legacy Preparatory Charter Academy.
